Curtis and Citi share an ongoing commitment for bettering New York city communities. The long-term partnership began in 2014 with a Community Home Runs initiative at Citi Field that that raised funds to fight childhood hunger. Together, we’ve raised millions of dollars for community groups in need in the tri-state area.
Another indispensable partner of the Grand Kids Foundation, Delta supports Grand Kids programming by hosting fundraisers and contributing services & funds to special events, including the Grand Kids 10th anniversary party. Grand Kids also collaborates with Delta on a Holiday in the Hanger initiative to deliver a fun and memorable 'North Pole' experience to children in need.
Curtis Granderson’s custom Rawlings Pro H Web glove has made countless plays on and off the field - including more little league clinics than we can possibly count. Rawlings has gifted more than 10,000 gloves to Grand Kids camp programs, an opportunity that introduces many young children the great game of baseball for the very first time.
A preferred partner of the Grand Kids Academy, University of Illinois - Chicago is a pilots programs that combine fitness and education on behalf of the foundation. The partnership with UIC also includes use of a state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor complex that annually provides more than 10,000 inner city youth with the opportunity to safely play ball.
